The House Oversight Committee has made public a set of around 70 images from the estate of former found guilty sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein.

This represents the third disclosure from a larger collection of in excess of 95,000 images the panel has obtained from Epstein's holdings. It features pictures of quotes from the literary work Lolita scrawled across a female's body, and obscured photos of women's overseas passports.

This disclosure arrives hours before the 19 December deadline for the DOJ to disclose every records associated with its inquiry into Epstein.

"These latest images raise further queries about precisely what the DOJ has in its custody," remarked the Democratic lead of the panel, Robert Garcia.

These are the newest affluent, prominent men to be pictured in Epstein property images published by the oversight panel - formerly released pictures also depict US President Donald Trump and past president Bill Clinton, as well as movie director Woody Allen, ex- US Secretary of the Treasury Larry Summers, lawyer Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and others.

Appearing in the photographs is does not constitute indication of any wrongdoing, and several of the featured figures have asserted they were not involved in Epstein's criminal activity.

In a statement released with the photo release, Democrats on the US House Oversight Committee noted the Epstein estate's representatives did not supply context or timeframes for the pictures.

"Photographs were chosen to offer the public with openness into a representative sample of the photos obtained from the holdings, and to provide insights into Epstein's associates and his profoundly alarming activities," the statement states.

The publication also includes a number of photographs of quotes from the Vladimir Nabokov literary work Lolita inscribed in black ink across several locations of a female's body, like her upper body, foot, hipbone, and spine. Lolita recounts the story of a adolescent who was exploited by a adult literature professor.

One quote from the novel scrawled across a woman's torso states, "Lo-lee-ta: the end of the tongue making a journey of three steps down the roof of the mouth to land, at three, on the teeth".

There are also a collection of photographs of female passports and identification documents from states globally, like Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

A large portion of the information on the papers, like identities and dates of birth, is redacted but the panel stated in a press release that the travel documents pertain to "individuals whom Jeffrey Epstein and his conspirators were engaging".

Another photograph shows Epstein positioned at a workstation closely surrounded by three women whose faces have been censored - one has her hand on Epstein's chest under his clothing, and a second is leaning to view a nearby device. Epstein appears to be helping the final person attach a piece of jewelry.

An additional photo released is a image of digital messages from an unnamed sender who states they have been sent "a number of girls" and are requesting "$1000 for each individual".

Image Publication Comes Ahead of DOJ Cut-off

The committee has a vast number of photos in its possession from the Epstein property, which are "both graphic and ordinary," its announcement on this week noted.

The oversight panel first legally compelled the property of Epstein, who died in a New York correctional facility in 2019 while facing trial on allegations of sex trafficking, in August.

The photos and files the Epstein estate's representatives submitted to the body are distinct from what is commonly referred to "the Epstein files". Those files are records within the DOJ's control associated with its own probe into Epstein.

Pursuant to the recently passed law, which Donald Trump signed into law last month, the DOJ has until the date of 19 December to release its files. The full nature of what's contained in the DOJ's documents is unclear, and it's probable that a significant portion of the material will be significantly redacted, comparable to the committee's materials
